Salman Khan has
been sentenced to a 5-Year jail term. Possibly, it was one of the reasons why
his BP was recorded high.
Salman’s lawyer
issued a public statement a short while back, and endorsed that verdict had
come as a surprise. He said that although the judgement of the court came as a
surprise, they respected the decision of the honourable court

Which implies that
even Salman was least mentally prepared to be convicted and sent to jail today.
In fact, like the other co-accused (Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and
Neelam Kothari), Salman’s return ticket to Mumbai, for the evening, was already
booked.
Even the winds that
were blowing were not suggesting that Salman will be convicted. Since, 20 years
there had been no verdict, some believed that chances of a sentence being
announced today, were very slim.
